Thanks to its architectural heritage, the hamlet of Blagny is a magnificent place. It is a remarkable testimony to the connection between the Cistercian monks and our vineyard. The appellation forms a cirque at the top of the hillsides. A few years ago, I came to run in this magical setting to recharge my batteries. The wine lives up to its history. Intense, powerful, and long on the palate. It has all the hallmarks of a great Meursault with the finesse and complexity of Puligny-Montrachet.
