I find that Nuits-Saint-Georges is a bit like the Pommard of the Côte de Nuits. I particularly like the Nuits-Saint-Georges of David Duband, Robert Chevillon or of course Frédéric Mugnier. These are terroirs that produce virile wines but when they are worked with finesse produce wines of great freshness and incredible length. It is a village that I like very much.
