Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru - Chenevottes
The soil is lean and rich in iron. This cuvée is often shy when young but shows itself to be very generous after one or two years in the bottle. Les Chenevottes is a derivative of the word, in old French, "cheneve", which means hemp. It is undoubtedly a place where hemp was grown not to smoke it but rather to make ropes. A diversification of cultures that was once obvious, when Amazon did not deliver anything and everything in less than 48 hours.

Producing commune: To the south of the Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet, together with Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault, forms the famous "Côte des Blancs".
