Description

In 2017, Europe liberalized planting rights in the Vin de France appellation. I took the opportunity to plant a plot in 2018 between Puligny and Chassagne de ... Sauvignon blanc. The vines are planted at the crossroads of a road where all the winegrowers pass regularly. The plot therefore did not fail to quickly arouse remarks. Our syndicates and appellation representatives did not see this opportunity to diversify our dying vineyards favorably and wished to forbid this possibility. That's why I called this cuvée Parcelle interdite.

Que dire de cette pépite signée par Armand Heitz ? Rien, c'est du bonheur liquide que l'Assurance Maladie devrait rembourser sur facture et ordonnance. Un pur produit de prohibition qui devrait être dans toutes les bonnes caves.

Un réussite qui tranche avec un monde si policé, si terne, qui prouve que les interdits peuvent être salutaires.

Merci pour ce vin digne de mai 68.

Sauvignon Blanc from Burgundy? This seems impossible but here we are. @armandheitz has chosen an appropriate name for this Cuvée: Parcelle interdite or Prohibited Plot. This was an amazing experience because you have something unique on your hands and not a lot of people would dare to do so. Fresh and crisp, full of fruit with green apple, passion fruit, grapefruit, lemon zest and slight gooseberry with asparagus. However, vegetal note was so light and not overwhelming at all ( I am saying this as I have a difficult history with Sauvignon Blanc). Just incredible when you could find surprises like this.
