Saint-Romain - Combe Bazin
Saint-Romain is a bit set back geographically from the other villages on the Côte de Beaune. On the other hand, the wines produced are in no way behind those of the coast. Freshness and drinkability, it is a reference that every good connoisseur must have in his cellar.
Grape: Chardonnay
History and tradition: Saint-Romain, climatically later than the rest of the Côte de Beaune, is conducive to nervous and mineral wines.
Soil:Located north of Meursault, this limestone terroir offers a white Combe Bazin with citrus and floral aromas, with a beautiful smoothness.

Tasting notes:
"A deeper nose, airy on top - needs a bit of air. On the palate it's wide, energetic and delicious, slowly insinuating its flavor into your tongue - creamy at the end and quite long - a pleasure for the public." Bill Nanson - Burgundy Report 2019
