Pommard - Vaumuriens
Pommard is quite a famous climate because some of the great names in Burgundy own it and have been marketing it for several years. I like this climate because it is exposed to the North and suffers much less from heat waves in hot years. It is also a hilltop terroir. The wine will therefore tend towards freshness and intensity. These are characteristics that I really appreciate when vinifying with whole grapes.
