Armand's tasting moment #2
Posted by Armand Heitz onWe are already meeting for a second tasting moment 🍷
This time, I'm taking you to taste a champagne from Maison Henri Giraud, estate from an old family that has been living in Aÿ, a mythical terroir, for several generations. Directed by Claude Giraud, the Maison Giraud is particularly renowned for the vinification of its wines in oak barrels from the Argonne, a large Champagne forest.
Champagne cuvée Esprit Nature from Maison Giraud
The tradition of Friday evening, in order to savor a great week of work done, it's champagne! 🍾
I particularly appreciate the philosophy of the house Giraud, which highlights nature and the environment ♻️
The house's cuvées are all worked with precision ✨
Blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay 🍇
- Let's start with the dress: this one is intense, which tells us that champagne is good to drink 💥
- The nose is rich and complex, the latter offers us an aromatic palette that ranges from vegetal to empyreumatic 🌿
- In the mouth, I find the wide aromatic palette that I had on the nose, great!
- In the end, this champagne is a real success, a bottle that will go perfectly with fairly spicy dishes 👌🏻
See you soon for another tasting moment!
