The Café du Rhône is an emblematic bistro on the banks of the Rhône, located in the 3^th arrondissement of Lyon. It opened its doors for the first time in 1902 and still retains its magnificent interior decor made of woodwork and painted ceramics representing symbolic places of the capital of Gaul. Listed as a historic monument since 1984, its current owner has undertaken major restoration work to preserve this exceptional heritage.

This unique setting is accompanied by a friendly welcome, whether for a coffee or a good meal with friends. On the menu, gourmet dishes revisiting traditional bistro cuisine, with fresh, seasonal and local products.

This lunchtime, chef Ophélie Renard offers us a gravlax salmon accompanied by cucumber pickles, lemon mayonnaise and grapefruit supreme. This fresh and fruity starter goes perfectly with the bottle of Bourgogne blanc chardonnay 2018 from Domaine Armand Heitz with its citrus aromas and lively taste.
